Mexico Pavillion

A showcase of Mexico’s past, present, and future

Following a public bidding for Proméxico, we came in second place for best design and helped with the development of Shanghai Expo 2010 Mexico pavilion.

Main features:

  • Three-storey pavilion located underground beneath a plaza, which consists of a kite forest and natural grass
  • The walls inside the façade are carved with traditional pre-Columbian art from Mesoamerican civilizations such as the Mayans and Aztecs
  • Exhibition space also contains two private rooms and a cactus rooftop garden
